Hi im izzy!
Originally from North Salt Lake, Utah, now living in Port Orange, Florida! I've always loved creating! I graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. in Art, where I really clicked with photography. Through a scholarship, I got my first camera & started documenting my own life & things that were important to me.
Photography has always been how I remember things. I don't have the best memory... so taking photos became my way of holding onto moments! It also gave me an excuse to slow down, get dressed up, & notice the magic in everyday life! Photography combines a lot of my favorite things so I've created Izzy Photo Lab to exist somewhere between making art & making memories!
My approach
Izzy Photo Lab was created as a space for creativity, storytelling, and growth. My approach is rooted in experimentation and intention, treating each session as a chance to create something meaningful rather than simply take photos. I also like my photos to feel pretty & a little magical. Not everything has to be perfect but when it comes to my photos, I want you to look back & feel happy! I focus on documenting moments as they happen, capturing connection, movement, and the feeling of time passing. The goal is to create images that feel like art while still holding real memories you can return to years from now.
